Our Aims

From its National Organisation, the branch was formed in 1979 to offer support and advice to sufferers, their families and friends and to offer fellowship through meetings and social events so the fear of isolation may be alleviated.

Members and supporters of the branch voluntarily raise funds for Research with the sum of over £118,000 being raised since its formation.
