Summer BBQ 2004

A very pleasant evening in scorching temperatures was spent by those who, at the kind invitation of Edwina Millis, went along to her home on Saturday August 7th to admire the beauty of her garden in all it's glory and to sample the wonderful buffet, prepared by Edwina herself, which accompanied the food, cooked to perfection on the barbecue, by Rob.
Edwina spends many hours in her garden tending to all the lovely roses and the many colourful plants set in an ornamental setting, despite having RP herself.
Thank you, Edwina, for giving all of us a treat. Your garden is a credit to you. Also, thanks for running a raffle at which £46.50 was contributed to the research funds.
Our special thanks go to Darren [Edwina's son] for his hospitality, too.
