Rock'n'Roll Party - Elvis Tribute

A tribute night to celebrate what would have been the King of Rock & Roll's 70th birthday was organised by Ann Walsh with the event being held at the Cubbington Sports & Social Club in Leamington Spa on Saturday January 8th. A party of us travelled from the branch to enjoy the music that has been around for 50 years with most of us joining the other rockers on the dance floor.
An excellent night, Ann, and many thanks for raising the sum of £208 which was shared by RP and Scope.
Also, an auction of memorabilia was held which raised a further £85 for the Tsunami disaster.
Thanks to Ann and the mini bus girls for having a raffle on your journey to an Elvis Night in Bedworth raising a further £7 - thanks girls for taking RP to your hearts.
