Pudding Lovers Evening 2004
Friday, 13th February 2004
What a night, Friday February 13th turned out to be!
58 folks turned up at the Ullesthorpe Court Hotel to a very warm welcome by the organiser, Bill Evitts, who we thank along with his lady wife for the very smooth running of the evening. The setting was splendour in itself; the main meal was faultless with plenty to tuck into...then came the highlight of the evening - The Fanfare of Seven Puddings - with everyone clapping and the puddings, topped with sparklers, being paraded around the room. It was a sight never to be forgotten!
But, oh, tasting all those puddings with lashings of custard [and seconds for those who dared keep going] was simply heaven! By the end of the night the first pudding called Holiday Pudding was the one that took the top vote by just one point closely followed by Eton Mess.
The feedback has been 'What a great night!' and 'When are we doing it again?' Glad you all enjoyed yourselves and many thanks for supporting our raffle which raised £80.

Pudding Lovers united to enjoy the perfect Valentine Treat!

Just one of the fanfare of SEVEN puddings savoured by our group!

A wonderful evening was had by one and all!
